If your business isn’t successful, you should look
at your personal life. The business shouldn’t influence the person; the person
should influence the business. You can tell a business owner’s personality by
the culture of their business. My fellow entrepreneurs, you are the brand and
your business (es) are products of the brand (YOU).
The first step to starting a business is neither the
business plan nor your personal plan; it should be a self evaluation. In order
to put a successful plan together you must have an understanding of where you
are in life spiritually, mentally, financially, and physically. Please be
HONEST with yourself, because the truth will set you free and a lie will set
you broke, busted and disgusted. Let me keep it real, as people say, I failed
to do a self evaluation before going into business over 7 years ago and I’ve
suffered greatly in all areas of my life. So, I encourage you from experience
not to make the same mistake.
